Free Play Options Tutorials - four scripted scenarios designed to walk you through the phases of the game. | | Download and log into the free Stargate™ Online Trading Card Game client. If you don't have a free account you will need to register one now. You can do this after launching the game and clicking the New Account button. | | Click on the "Stargate Command" button in the Splash Screen, then click the "Tutorials" button. | | You will be given four tutorial options from which to choose, we recommend that you start at the beginning the first time. |
Once you have finished the tutorials you will have the game-play information you need. If you feel that you missed something, go back and follow any of the tutorials over again. |
Practice Games - Now take on some live opponents! | | In the Main Lobby click the "Casual Games" button. This takes you to the area where players test out their decks against each other. | | Available Practice Game: If a game labeled "Practice" on the lower bar is currently available, click the lit-up green "Play" icon on that game. | | Creating a Practice Game: If none are available, create your own practice game. Click the "Create Game" button near the top left of the game client. In this new window select the "Practice Game" play format. Click the "Create Game" button. An opponent can join and each of you will be able to use a starter deck for your practice game. | Good luck! All the above features are free for you to try as long as you like, however, when you want to start building your own deck, testing your skills against a computer opponent, trading, and playing in tournaments you need to build a selection of cards. Purchasing a registration package is your best option. In addition to providing you with an initial assortment of cards for deck building, this purchase opens your account to allow trades with other players and tournament play. You can also take this new deck and click on the "Skirmish" button in the main lobby to take on a challenging computer opponent.
